Chloe: Analysis of Future Trends 1921-Present

Analysis of Future Trends

The impact of Chloe is huge in the fashion world. The ability to create beautiful feminine looks will last for generations to come. The look of soft, flowing fabrics are present in today’s fashion, and will remain present for years to come. The concept of “ready to wear” is also something that has grown exponentially since Gaby Aghion coined the term. In the world today, there are more citizens who would be looking for affordable looks, not haute couture pieces. The key look of Chloe would be the girly; cute designs that woman all over the globe love.

These looks are more recent designs by Chloe. The cream and pink dress on the left is from October 2012, and the Navy blue chiffon is from Spring/Summer 2007. In the modern styles of fashion the spirit of Chloe remains. The beautiful color, fluidness of the fabrics, and girly essence still are what define the brand. Many designers have looked to Chloe for inspiration. The first was Givenchy in 1954 when he displayed his collection “Givenchy University.” He noted the way Chloe moved past the style structure of the time, and established something revolutionary in the fashion world. Givenchy used Chloe’s idea of looks that were more affordable, and ready to wear. Designers following Givenchy in the years to come also moved towards this type of market. In the beginning of Chloe the concept was to create looks for people with less money, but as the years progressed Chloe became more expensive, as many brands that are high in the fashion industry tend to do. I personally own many styles that represent an item of Chloe. I love the flowing look of fabrics, and tend to dress more feminine. If I were able to afford Chloe, then I would be primarily drawn to wearing those clothing pieces.
